SAEDNEWS: One of the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, referring to Masoud Pezeshkian’s role in promoting a spirit of national unity in the 14th administration, said: The President has made efforts to remain committed to this slogan and has put it into practice as well.
According to Saednews, Reza Sepehvand, assessed the performance of the 14th administration and the extent to which the slogan of national unity has been realized over the past year. He stated: “What we are witnessing is that the government—particularly in the area of human resources—has acted in accordance with the slogan of national unity, as it has made the most use of ministers and mid-level managers from the previous administration. Additionally, over the past year, the government has sought to foster good cooperation and coordination with the Parliament, consistently paying attention to its proposals.”
He continued, “There is a general consensus across various institutions, especially those active in the economic and energy sectors, and the slogan of national unity has been relatively implemented. The most significant step the government has taken toward creating national unity has been placing the Leader’s guidance at the center of its slogans and actions. As a result, it has managed to engage all political currents within this framework.”
The lawmaker emphasized, “The diversity of political currents within the administration is very positive, although it has also created challenges for the government. Typically, any new administration is expected to appoint individuals who trust and believe in its slogans and ideology.”
Sepehvand also referred to the government’s performance during the 12-day imposed war by the Zionist regime against Iran, saying: “The government performed well in various economic sectors, especially in the energy sector, during that 12-day conflict. The public did not experience any shortages during this period.”
Regarding the government's handling of structural imbalances, he stated: “When it comes to imbalances in the energy sector that the country has faced over the past year, I believe their roots go back over a decade and are not exclusive to this administration. Nevertheless, now that we are nearing the peak consumption period, we can see that the government has managed the energy sector well enough to minimize harm to the industrial and agricultural sectors.”
The representative of Khorramabad in Parliament also highlighted the role of Masoud Pezeshkian in promoting national unity within the 14th administration, stating: “In truth, national unity is Dr. Pezeshkian’s own slogan, as not all groups and factions that supported him necessarily embraced it. The President has strived to remain faithful to this slogan and has implemented it in practice. In my opinion, the President has been successful in this regard.”
