SAEDNEWS: The I.R.G.C. detained over 50 terrorists linked to the Israeli regime in Sistan and Baluchestan province, southeastern Iran, and killed two others.
According to Saednews, The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (I.R.G.C.) says over 50 terrorists and mercenaries linked to the Israeli regime have been arrested and two others killed in recent operations in southern Sistan and Baluchestan province.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the I.R.G.C. ground forces said the operation was part of the “Martyrs of Security” drill and was conducted in collaboration with security and intelligence agencies, as well as local residents.
The arrested individuals are affiliated with terrorist groups based in the eastern part of the country. Their operational objectives included spreading insecurity throughout the southern province and executing disruptive acts against infrastructure and economic sectors.
Additionally, a large cache of weapons and military ammunition, including arms made in the United States, was seized from arrestees, the statement said.
Efforts to apprehend other potential accomplices are still ongoing in the province, it added.
