SAEDNEWS: Senator Anwaar ul-Haq Kakar said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a victim of Western hegemony and the international bodies’ inaction.
According Saednews, Pakistani Senator Anwaar ul-Haq Kakar says that Iran is a victim of Western hegemony and inaction of international institutions.
Kakar, who is also a former prime minister of Pakistan, made the remark in an exclusive interview with IRNA’s correspondent in Islamabad on Monday.
Criticizing the warmongering approach of Israel and its supporters, he said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has fallen victim to Western hegemony, as well as the inaction of global institutions such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (I.A.E.A.).
Despite Iran’s persistent policy on peaceful nuclear activities and the religious decree by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei that bans nuclear weapons as well as the fact that no I.A.E.A. report has ever found Tehran in violation of its commitments, Israel carried out an act of aggression under the pretext of a so-called preemptive strike, the senator said as he commented about the latest 12-day war of aggression the regime launched on Iran on June 13.
He also acknowledged the I.A.E.A.’s destructive approach on Iran, which issued a resolution against the country just a few days ahead of the Israeli aggression.
Unfortunately, international organizations, particularly those under Western dominance, lack an ethical framework to address various challenges, he noted.
In today’s world, hegemonic powers control everything and stand firmly with Israel, Kakar said, adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran and other countries in the region are a victim of this hegemony.
He also referred to Pakistan’s support for Iran during the Israeli aggression, saying that the support and the condemnation of the regime’s action marked a rational and strategically decision by Islamabad.
Tehran and Islamabad face common security challenges and threats in the region, he said.
