SAEDNEWS: The British Prime Minister criticized the punk-rap group Bob Vylan for its statements against the Zionist regime.
According to Saed News, quoting Al Jazeera, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the punk-rap group "Bob Vylan" for chanting anti-Zionist slogans during their performance at the Glastonbury music festival.
During their Saturday performance, the group encouraged the audience to chant "Death to the Israeli army" (referring to the IDF).
In an interview with The Telegraph, Starmer said: “There is absolutely no justification for this kind of appalling hate speech.”
He added, “I have previously said that groups like Kneecap should not be given a platform, and that applies to all artists who incite violence or make threats.”
The British Prime Minister had earlier voiced concern about the Irish rap group "Kneecap," who are known pro-Palestinian activists.
Starmer's criticism comes despite the fact that Western officials often consider attacks on Muslims and pro-Palestinian voices as part of free speech, yet even the slightest criticism of the Zionist regime is not tolerated. Previously, German police—alongside other European governments supportive of Tel Aviv—had cracked down on protesters against the Gaza war in support of Zionists.
