SAEDNEWS: The Foreign Ministry spokesperson reacted to the NATO Secretary General’s congratulatory message to Trump.
According to Saednews, Esmaeil Baghaei wrote in a post on X:
“It is shameful, repugnant, and irresponsible for the Secretary General of NATO to congratulate a ‘truly extraordinary’ act of aggression against a sovereign country.
Anyone who supports oppression and injustice is devoid of honor.
Anyone who supports a crime is considered an accomplice and a partner in that crime.”
Donald Trump published images of personal text messages from Mark Rutte in which the NATO Secretary General praised the U.S. President’s decision to carry out aggressive strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Apparently, these messages — which Trump posted on the social network Truth Social — were sent before the start of the two-day NATO summit held in The Hague, Netherlands, which began on Tuesday.
According to the screenshots Trump shared from his phone, the NATO Secretary General, referring to the U.S. attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, wrote:
“Congratulations and thank you for your decisive action against Iran — it was truly extraordinary and something no one else dared to do. It has made all of us safer.”
