SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared that the Iranian nation had once again emerged as “the eternal victor of history,” crediting steadfast resistance and military readiness for neutralizing foreign pressure without conceding to enemy demands.
According to Saed News, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf issued a strongly worded statement on Tuesday, hailing what he described as a momentous national triumph over foreign aggression. In a message to the Iranian people, Ghalibaf claimed that Iran had successfully forced an end to hostilities without yielding to demands concerning its nuclear enrichment or missile programs.
“Imposing a halt to the enemy’s aggression without accepting their conditions demonstrates our disregard for their demands,” Ghalibaf stated. “We are guided solely by the interests of the great and heroic Iranian nation. With absolute distrust of our enemies, we remain with our fingers on the trigger, ready to respond decisively to any act of aggression.”
Ghalibaf credited the outcome to what he called divine support, the strategic leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and the unity and discernment of the Iranian people. He lauded the country’s armed forces for what he described as bold acts of retaliation, including strikes that he claimed rendered Israel’s Iron Dome “ineffective,” destroyed military and security centers, and delivered a “proportionate response” to U.S. forces in the region.
He further praised the Iranian people and their military for defending the nation’s nuclear and missile achievements “to the last minute,” asserting that Iran had maintained its offensive capabilities even under sustained attack. Ghalibaf vowed continued resistance against what he called “the child-killing enemy” that targeted civilians, hospitals, welfare centers, and ambulances.
In a pointed critique of the international community, Ghalibaf accused global institutions—including the United Nations, the International Atomic Energy Agency, and human rights organizations—of failing Iran during this crisis. “They stood disgraced,” he said, contrasting their inaction with what he framed as the resilience and solidarity of the Iranian public under the most severe psychological and military pressures.
“Through understanding, courage, unity, and precise judgment, the Iranian nation has written the brightest chapter in these days of brave resistance,” Ghalibaf said. “The enemy has been discouraged for years to come. The real defeat of Iran’s enemies lies in their complete despair.”
He concluded by portraying the recent events as a turning point in modern history, claiming Iran had offered the world a lesson in patriotism and unity. “The world will speak in one voice to praise the historic solidarity of the Iranian people,” he said. “The Iranian nation is forever dignified and the eternal victor of history.”
