SAEDNEWS: A Jordanian expert emphasized that Iran’s leadership, which holds the initiative in the region, was able to clearly define its limits in the war and forced the Zionists to surrender.
According to Saednews, following the humiliating defeat imposed on the Zionist regime by Iran in the framework of the 12-day battle titled “Operation Promised Truth 3,” which began in response to the regime’s brazen aggression against our country, various regional and international circles and experts are analyzing different aspects of this war and how it ended.
In this context, Elias Fakhoury, a prominent Jordanian writer and expert, in a note titled “Israel is Heading Toward Destruction,” stated that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the occupying regime, in the first military attack that this regime launched against Iran, claimed in a conversation with Donald Trump, the President of the United States, that he promised him he would make the Iranian regime surrender to Israel!
This Jordanian writer added: It is true that this attack was shocking and initially dealt a heavy blow to Iran, but the system and leadership of this country were confident of the outcome and knew that they would end this brutal madness of Israel on Palestinian occupied soil — not on Iranian soil.
He continued: For several days prior, talks about closing the Strait of Hormuz, Bab al-Mandab, the regional seas, targeting American bases and fleets, and the U.S. military presence throughout the region — neighboring Iran and even all of West Asia — had increased. There were also discussions about Iran threatening to attack the Dimona reactor and taking actions against U.S. strategic interests. Amid Israel’s fear of its defensive incapacity and the risk of radioactive explosions, questions arose about the fate of international commercial shipping in the Persian Gulf after the U.S. aggression on Iran’s nuclear sites.
Elias Fakhoury emphasized: Iran showed that besides having important economic and military cards to pressure the U.S., it still prioritized continuing heavy attacks against the Zionist regime to further weaken its defensive capabilities — which it succeeded in doing. Therefore, contrary to the Zionists’ claims, the cost of this war was paid by Israel, primarily by the criminal Netanyahu, not Iran and its system.
The aforementioned Jordanian writer noted: The Iranian Supreme National Security Council, in its statement about imposing a ceasefire on the Zionist regime, declared that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, without the slightest trust in the words of the enemies and with their fingers on the trigger, are ready to respond decisively and regretfully to any aggressive act by the enemy.
The note continues: What Iran’s leadership did by deciding to respond to the Zionist enemy’s aggression shows the image of the strategic leadership of a superpower that alone holds the initiative in the region. Iran was able to manage this war well and set its limits — to the extent that it was Netanyahu who had to request a ceasefire.
