Vitkoff’s claim about negotiations with Iran!

SAEDNEWS: The U.S. Special Representative for West Asia claims that with the establishment of a ceasefire, the United States and Iran are negotiating a return to the negotiating table.

Vitkoff’s claim about negotiations with Iran!

According to Saednews, Steve Vitkoff, Donald Trump’s representative, claimed in an interview with Fox News that initial indirect and direct negotiations with Iran have taken place to restart nuclear talks.

He stated:

"We are negotiating with Iran directly and through intermediaries; our talks with the Iranian side are hopeful. We are optimistic. Now is the time to sit down with the Iranians and reach a peaceful and comprehensive agreement."

Repeating previous U.S. claims, Vitkoff added:

"In any agreement we pursue with Iran, we will not allow any uranium enrichment."

Contradicting U.S. intelligence assessments, Trump’s representative further claimed:

"Reviving Iran’s nuclear program will be almost impossible and will take years."

These claims and similar statements by U.S. officials come as CNN revealed yesterday that an initial assessment by the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency indicates that the U.S. military strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites last weekend did not destroy the core components of Iran’s nuclear program and probably only delayed it by a few months.

This previously unreported assessment is based on war damage analysis conducted by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) after the attacks.

Trump and his administration have been reportedly very upset about CNN’s leak of this confidential document.
