Grossi Called For the Resumption of Tehran’s Cooperation With the Agency

According to Saed News, The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has once again called for Tehran’s cooperation with the Agency.

According to a report by RIA Novosti, he said: “Resuming cooperation with the IAEA is the key to achieving a successful agreement, and I have proposed holding a meeting with Iran’s Foreign Minister.”

Grossi’s proposal for a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi comes as, just yesterday (Monday), the spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, responding to a question about Grossi’s request to visit Iran to assess the damage from recent attacks, said: “We have long expressed dissatisfaction with the Director General’s biased approach and have conveyed our grievances to him clearly.”

He added: “The so-called comprehensive report presented by the Director General was based on a mandate given by the three European countries and the U.S., and both the report itself and the subsequent resolution served as political pretexts for the Israeli attack.”
