Heydari: The International Atomic Energy Agency Has Turned into a Political Tool For the U.S. and Israel.

According to Saednews, Shahriar Heydari, condemned the attack by the U.S. and the Zionist regime on Iran’s nuclear facilities and stated: Since Iran is a member of the NPT, it naturally operates under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This brutal and inhumane action by the U.S. and the Zionist regime is contrary to the NPT and the regulations of the IAEA. No other country will trust the IAEA or the NPT treaty anymore. With this act, they have proven that trusting the IAEA and adhering to the NPT is pointless.

The IAEA has proven it has lost its technical and professional function

He said: With these actions, the world is being pushed toward modern weapons. Countries around the world will move toward developing nuclear weapons because of this. The Islamic Republic of Iran has cooperated with the IAEA for years. The agency has repeatedly inspected Iran’s nuclear facilities and confirmed there has been no deviation from the NPT. Since the IAEA is a tool in the hands of the U.S. and the Zionist regime, today it has proven it has lost its technical and professional role and has become a political instrument for the U.S. and Israel.

Iran will use its legal and military capacities against U.S. aggression

The former member of parliament stressed: Mr. Grossi’s positions at the IAEA were essentially Netanyahu’s positions. He repeated the words of Netanyahu and Trump, not the technical discussions of the IAEA. We witnessed an ugly, illegal, and intolerable move. The Islamic Republic must use its legal and military capacities. What is necessary is to act quickly and urgently.

The Islamic Republic cannot in any way retreat from its nuclear knowledge.

Iran must reconsider cooperation with the IAEA

He went on to say: Nuclear knowledge is essential for Iran’s technological development. Despite the efforts of the U.S. and the Zionist regime, nuclear knowledge in the country will not be lost; it is ingrained in Iran and in the thoughts of Iranian scientists.
