SAEDNEWS: In a fiery response to Israel's attacks on Iranian soil, former MP Moinoddin Saeedi calls for national unity, warning that sectarian and political differences must dissolve when “Mother Iran” is violated, and slams collaborators as “those rolling out red carpets for occupiers.”
According to Saed News, former Iranian parliamentarian Moinoddin Saeedi has delivered a powerful message of unity in the face of foreign aggression, declaring that sectarian, ethnic, and political divides are meaningless when the homeland is under threat. In remarks to ILNA News, Saeedi condemned the recent Israeli strikes on Iran and criticized what he called treacherous appeasement by some within the country.
"Whether we are Sunni or Shia, left or right, Persian or Baloch—none of it matters now. The homeland is under attack, and every Iranian must rise in defense of this land," said Saeedi. Expressing dismay at perceived internal collaborators, he added, "I am ashamed of those who lay out red carpets for Israel."
Saeedi recounted the words of an elderly man in a remote village in Chabahar, who offered to shelter five families displaced by the war. “Our people may be poor, but their hearts and homes are open to all Iranians. That is our strength,” he emphasized.
He underscored that Israel, a regime “infamous for child-killing,” is not just targeting Iran’s nuclear program or government but is directly attacking its territorial sovereignty. “This is no longer about policy—it is about survival,” he stated.
Saeedi called on every Iranian, regardless of grievances with internal policies or political factions, to put aside disputes and close ranks. “History shows that whenever foreign invaders set foot on this land, Iranians united as one. This is a moment not for complaints but for cohesion.”
Referring to past invasions and the experience of countries like Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan, he warned, “Foreign boots have never brought liberty or prosperity. Only destruction.”
He concluded with a poetic defense of national pride:
"Whoever strikes Iran with slander or sword,
Knows not the soul of the soil nor the fire of its horde."
Adding, “Now is the time for awareness, for unity, and for standing tall—not just for the Republic, but for Iran itself.”
