According to Saed News, In a dramatic escalation of security tensions, Iranian intelligence and law enforcement agencies in Lorestan province have thwarted a planned terrorist attack in Khorramabad, apprehending an individual linked to the Israeli regime. The suspect, who reportedly demanded the release of a detained Israeli pilot, was found in possession of a ready-to-detonate explosive device.
According to an official statement from the Lorestan provincial branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the incident unfolded late Wednesday evening when the suspect made direct contact with security authorities, issuing a chilling ultimatum: liberation of Israeli combatants held by Iranian forces, or face severe retaliatory attacks within the city.
Swift and meticulously coordinated operations between the provincial police command and the IRGC’s intelligence division culminated in the suspect’s prompt identification and arrest. A subsequent search of the individual’s residence uncovered a bomb primed for detonation, alongside a hunting firearm, both of which were seized and rendered safe by specialized bomb disposal units.
