Saednews:The Turkish Foreign Minister, referring to the recent developments in the region, stated: This issue is not about Palestine, nor Lebanon, nor Syria, nor Yemen, nor Iran. The problem in the region is clearly Israel. Israel must immediately put an end to its illegal attacks on Iran.
According to Saed News, the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) began today, Saturday, in Istanbul.
During the session, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Israel attacked Iran while it was in the midst of negotiations regarding its nuclear program. He said, “We strongly condemn this Israeli attack. These assaults must come to an immediate end.”
He added, “Turkey will stand against oppression. During our presidency of the OIC, we will be the voice of the Islamic world. We see the Ummah as one entity. We will maintain our unity in the face of crises.”
Referring to the recent developments in the region, the Turkish Foreign Minister said: “The problem is not Palestine, nor Lebanon, nor Syria, nor Yemen, nor Iran. The problem in the region is clearly Israel. Israel must immediately stop its illegal attacks on Iran.”
Fidan emphasized that the only way to establish peace in the region is through the creation of a Palestinian state.
He further stated: “Today, multilateralism is facing a legitimacy crisis due to intolerance, growing polarization in the world, and repeated violations of international law, all of which have worsened global crises.”
Fidan continued: “The UN Security Council and other international institutions, as we have seen in the face of the Gaza catastrophe, have failed in fulfilling their responsibilities.”
He concluded: “The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which represents 25% of the world’s population and possesses vast resources, must lead global peace efforts. We must adapt to new developments, maintain an active and widespread presence, and stand together with strong and unwavering solidarity.”
