Saed News: The Secretary of the Biotechnology, Health, and Medical Technologies Headquarters at the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy described Iran’s honorable deterrent power as the result of paying attention to and valuing science and technology.

Iran’s Honorable Deterrent Power Is the Result of Embracing Science and Technology

According to Saed News, quoting IRNA,
Mostafa Ghanei, referring to recent events and the cowardly attack by the Zionist regime against Iran, targeting a number of nuclear scientists, military commanders, and innocent civilians, stated:
“It is clear from recent events that the usurping Zionist regime has focused on Iran’s lack of capability in the nuclear field and targeted scientists in this area to prevent scientific progress.”

He added:
“In general, the scientific and technological capabilities of our country, and what currently changes the balance of power in favor of the Islamic Republic, are opposed by our enemies.”

The Secretary of the Biotechnology, Health, and Medical Technologies Headquarters of the Vice Presidency for Science said:
“Exactly what increases Iran’s power balance in the world and strengthens the country is acquiring knowledge, up-to-date sciences, and scientific jihad.”

He stated:
“Naturally, when the enemy observes the rapid progress of Iranian scientists in various scientific fields, it will put all its efforts into countering this trend.”

Ghanei further pointed out that modern sciences such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology, biotechnology, and microelectronics are considered the major scientific trends of the future and change the power balance of countries. He advised professors, specialists, researchers, and students in various scientific fields of the country to raise this balance day by day through their devoted efforts in science and technology.

The Secretary added:
“This is important because it prevents Iran’s enemies from daring to covet and attack our dear country.”

He said:
“If you see today that the enemies of this land are worried about the Islamic Republic of Iran’s response, this power stems from and results from the combination of science, technology, self-confidence, and self-reliance.”

Ghanei emphasized:
“The Iranian nation should know that the use of nuclear technology is not just for building weapons or merely producing electricity, but this science plays an effective and valuable role in generating knowledge in other fields, including drug manufacturing—especially for cancer patients—and accelerating technological and engineering growth.”

Recalling the years of the Sacred Defense, he said:
“At the beginning of the imposed war by Iraq against Iran, we witnessed that Iran stood against the enemy mainly with human waves and the sacrifices of its devoted youth and pushed the enemy back. But today, the role of technology and technological advances in battling enemies is certainly decisive.”

The Secretary of the Biotechnology, Health, and Medical Technologies Headquarters added that the seventh development plan precisely outlines the progress of sciences affecting various fields. He stressed that officials should support university professors and researchers so they can raise the power balance of the Islamic Republic to a deterrent level.

He emphasized that today’s honorable deterrent power of Iran in the military field results from paying attention to science and technology, and said:
“Certainly, in today’s world, science and technology determine the position of countries; thus, elites and top talents must consider the current global situation and how much effort is needed to stay a step ahead.”

Ghanei believes:
“What creates the power balance of countries are the fields of science and technology, and our elites in this area should not merely imitate or copy foreign technology but should always be innovators and one step ahead.”

He also said:
“Today’s scientific and technological fame and progress of Iran is certainly indebted to the sacrifices and efforts of all the precious martyrs of this land, especially the martyrs in the scientific field, and we all must strive to repay our debt to the martyred scientists.”

On the early morning of Friday, June 13, following a terrorist attack by the Zionist regime in Tehran and several cities, a number of military commanders, scientists, and civilians were martyred.

Following this Zionist crime, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution — on Friday night — emphasized in a televised message:
“The armed forces will make the despicable Zionist regime miserable, and God willing, with powerful action, life will become bitter for them, and there will be no leniency.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran launched Operation Vadeh Sadeq 3 on Friday night, firing dozens of missiles toward the occupied territories in response to the brutal Zionist attack.

The second phase of this operation was carried out on Saturday, with field reports, satellite images, and intelligence intercepts confirming the effective hitting of dozens of missiles on strategic targets.

On Sunday afternoon, June 15, the Zionist terrorist regime intensified its brutal attacks and targeted areas in Tehran. The Hemmat Highway area, Vali Asr Square region, Niavaran district, and Sohrevardi Street were among the locations attacked that afternoon.

In the eighth wave of Operation Vadeh Sadeq 3 on Monday, the command and control systems of the brutal Zionist regime experienced disruptions. Utilizing new methods and enhanced intelligence-equipment capabilities, the enemy’s multi-layered defense systems malfunctioned, causing their own defense systems to target each other.

Brigadier General Kiomars Heydari, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, emphasized on Tuesday:
“The enemy should know that a new wave of heavy attacks by the armed forces, especially the army’s ground forces with new and advanced weapons, has begun and will intensify in the coming hours.”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in a statement that they targeted the military intelligence center of the Zionist army known as “AMAN” and the center for designing terrorist operations and the malicious acts of the Zionist regime (Mossad).
