SaedNews: Donald Trump, the President of the United States, claimed in an interview with CBS News that he might send Steve Vitkoff, his representative in the Middle East, or J.D. Vance, the Vice President, to meet with the Iranians.
SaedNews reports, citing IRNA, Reuters wrote on Tuesday based on a CBS report: Washington claims that Trump is seeking a nuclear agreement with Iran.
The media added: Trump predicted that the (Israeli) regime will not slow down its attacks against Iran.
A CBS reporter quoted Trump on his personal airplane, Air Force One, saying: "You will find out in the next two days. You will find out. So far, no side has slowed down its attacks."
Trump made these remarks during a late-night departure from Canada. He attended the G7 summit on Monday.
According to what CBS News posted on social media platform X, quoting Trump, the U.S. President claimed he is pursuing a “real end” to the nuclear issue with Iran so that Tehran completely abandons its nuclear weapons.
In response to the possibility of sending Steve Vitkoff, the U.S. special envoy for Middle East affairs, or J.D. Vance, the Vice President, to meet with Iran, Trump said: “I might do that.”
However, according to the CBS reporter, the U.S. President added: “It depends on what happens when I return.”
