Trump Calls for Talks with Iranian Officials: Immediate Ceasefire or All-Out War?!

According to Saed News, quoting ISNA, an American media outlet reported that Donald Trump’s team has proposed talks with Iran this week regarding a nuclear agreement and a ceasefire.

According to four informed sources, the White House is considering the possibility of holding a meeting this week between Steve Witkoff, the U.S. representative, and Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister.

The purpose of this meeting would be to explore a diplomatic initiative involving a nuclear deal and an end to the war between the Israeli regime and Iran. Following the Israeli regime’s aggressions, which resulted in the martyrdom of several military commanders, nuclear scientists, and innocent civilians, Iran launched Operation Va’deh Sadegh 3 against sensitive targets in the occupied territories, causing heavy damage to the regime’s structure.

The American media Axios reported that this meeting is not yet finalized but is part of Donald Trump’s new efforts to avoid war and return to the path of an agreement.

A U.S. official confirmed, “A meeting with the Iranians is being considered for this week.”

Axios also wrote that this meeting could be a decisive turning point in whether the U.S. will join the Israeli regime’s aggressions against Iran or not.

A senior U.S. official said, “Trump sees the massive bunker-buster bombs necessary to destroy the underground enrichment facilities in Fordow—which the U.S. has but the Israeli regime does not—as a key leverage tool to bring Iran to the negotiating table.”
