Saed News: An American network, quoting a source, reported that the U.S. President’s “urgent” warning to leave Tehran was aimed at pressuring Iranian officials to come to the negotiating table.
According to Saed News, quoting ISNA, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed regret over the failure to reach an agreement with Iran and wrote on his social media platform: “Everyone must leave Tehran immediately.”
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote:
“Iran should have signed the deal I proposed. It’s unfortunate. It was clearly stated that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. I’ve said this many times. Everyone must leave Tehran immediately.”
Trump, who is attending the G7 summit, was asked by a BBC reporter at the event about the meaning of this warning. He replied that they should refer to the White House media office for an answer.
In this regard, a White House official stated that Trump's use of “immediately” leaving Tehran was intended to put “pressure on Iran to negotiate.”
An American network, quoting its own source, also reported that the U.S. President’s “urgent” warning to leave Tehran was aimed at pressuring Iranian officials to come to the negotiating table.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron, who is attending the G7 summit in Canada along with other leaders, said that Trump’s early departure from the summit is “a positive sign and indicates an intention to establish a ceasefire in the Middle East.”
