Tehran Hospitals On Alert to Provide Free Treatment For the Injured!

Saed News: The Deputy of Treatment at Tehran University of Medical Sciences said: Simultaneous with the beginning of the Zionist regime’s aggression against our beloved homeland, all hospitals affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences have gone on full alert and started providing uninterrupted medical services to the injured.

According to Saed News, Dr. Reza Sharvin Bado, Deputy of Treatment at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, referring to the university’s swift response to the incident, stated: The first session of the Health and Treatment Command Headquarters was held on the morning of the attack on Iran, with the presence of hospital directors and university board members. Decisions and necessary coordination began on that very Friday. Immediately afterward, all affiliated hospitals started admitting and providing services to the injured.

He added: Private hospitals under coverage have also been put on alert, and all staff and medical teams are providing uninterrupted services. Meanwhile, all routine medical activities and hospital services are continuing without disruption.

The Deputy emphasized the full readiness of the medical system of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, saying: All university hospitals are ready to admit casualties. So far, the majority of admissions have been handled by seven hospitals affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

He further explained that hospitals have been divided into two lines based on their level of operation and type of service, and all these centers are actively providing medical services to the injured.

Sharvin Bado also stressed that all medical services to the injured are free of charge: No patient is referred outside the hospital for obtaining medical supplies, and all medical, nursing, and support measures are fully carried out inside the hospital. On-call doctors’ schedules are being followed as planned, and nursing and support teams are fully active.

He concluded by expressing gratitude for the continuous support of the Minister of Health and the university board, and announced that the second session of the Health and Treatment Command Headquarters will also be held.
