SaedNews: For many, the idea of seeing a 5.5-meter python is unbearable, yet some might even accept this terrifying reptile as a pet.
According to SaedNews, citing Hakim Mehr, "Marcus Hobbs," a 31-year-old man, owns a 3-bedroom apartment in England and has shocked everyone with his terrifying pet.
Eight years ago, he bought a 20-centimeter-long python from a store. Over the years, his pet, named "Heksy," has grown to 5.5 meters in length and weighs 108 kilograms. This snake is fed various animals to keep it satisfied.
Hobbs has a family and two young children in addition to this pet. While he spends a lot of money to take care of his pet, he is aware that mistreating the snake could have serious consequences for him.
Hobbs is confident that "Heksy" will never harm his family. However, the idea of having such a pet in one's home is difficult to digest for many people.
Hobbs explains, "I knew 'Heksy' would grow, but not this much. I’m fond of snakes, and I want to help people understand these creatures. I am sure that 'Heksy' won’t harm my children. All it needs is food, water, and warmth, and as long as its needs are met, it won't be a danger."
UK pet laws do not allow licenses for keeping non-venomous snakes in apartments, so he must move if the neighbors find out.
