SAEDNEWS: The visas of four Iranian skiers scheduled to take part in the 2026 Winter Olympics have not been issued by Italy yet.
According to SAEDNEWS, The four Iranian ski representatives for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan have been confirmed in the cross-country and alpine disciplines.
They were set to travel to Milan to hold a training camp ahead of the Olympics.
The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in Italy from February 6 to February 22, and Iran’s national alpine and cross-country ski teams will compete at the Games with four male and female athletes.
In alpine skiing, Sadaf Saveh Shemshaki and Mohammad Kia Darbandsari will represent Iran.
In cross-country skiing, Samaneh Beyrami Baher and Danial Saveh Shemshaki have secured qualification for the Games.
