During a side meeting at the UN General Assembly in New York on Monday, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi reaffirmed Tehran’s responsible approach to the nuclear issue, strongly condemning recent attacks by the Israeli regime and the United States on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Araqchi stressed that the three European powers involved in nuclear talks – the UK, France, and Germany – along with other UN Security Council members, must recognize their obligations and avoid politically driven measures that could escalate tensions.

On her part, Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger highlighted the importance of keeping diplomacy at the forefront of international problem-solving and expressed Austria’s readiness to support constructive dialogue.

This meeting underscores Iran’s continued commitment to peaceful negotiations while urging the global community to uphold responsibility and avoid actions that undermine stability.
