SAEDNEWS: A senior advisor to Iran’s Leader denounced Israel’s attack on Qatari soil and called on the international community to respond to Israeli aggression.
Ali-Akbar Velayati, senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on international affairs, has condemned the Israeli regime’s attack on Qatari soil, urging the international community to break its silence in the face of Israeli aggression.
“Violations of international law and encroachments on national sovereignty have become routine behavior for the Israelis,” Velayati wrote in a post on his X account on Friday, adding, “The world must no longer remain silent.”
He noted that once again, it has become clear that the brutal regime recognizes no limits when it comes to committing crimes. “The attack on Qatari soil and the Palestinian brothers attending the meeting is condemned.”
On Tuesday, the Israeli regime launched airstrikes on residential areas in Doha, Qatar, targeting members of Hamas’s political bureau. In an official statement, Israel claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that its aim was to assassinate Hamas leaders gathered in the Qatari capital to discuss a ceasefire proposal put forward by the United States.
The airstrike has sparked widespread condemnation across the region and internationally.
