SAEDNEWS: Pezeshkian said the failure of US and the Israeli regime’s objectives against Iran stemmed from national unity and internal solidarity, which have given the country an inexhaustible power.
In a phone conversation on Monday night, Iranian President Pezeshkian spoke with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro about the latest regional and international developments, particularly in the wake of provocative US actions against Venezuela, and the strategies for strengthening bilateral relations.
Pezeshkian emphasized that the failure of US and Israeli objectives against Iran is rooted in national unity and internal solidarity, which have endowed the country with inexhaustible power. “As long as this unity is preserved, no foreign power can harm our countries,” he said.
Referring to decades of US hostility, Pezeshkian noted that Washington has relied on false propaganda and fabricated narratives to justify exerting pressure and violating international law. He reiterated that Iran strongly condemns any violation of states’ territorial integrity and supports Venezuela’s sovereignty and nation with all its capacity.
The Iranian president also highlighted the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, where US unilateralism and its use of force under false pretenses were widely condemned. He welcomed Venezuela’s efforts to maintain regional peace and stability and reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to expand cooperation with the Latin American country.
For his part, President Maduro praised Iran’s support and underscored Venezuela’s national unity. He emphasized that the country has reached a level of strength that shields the nation against any threat, condemning US media campaigns and psychological operations aimed at tarnishing Venezuela’s image. Millions of Venezuelans, he noted, rallied in defense of their homeland.
“Today, Iran and Venezuela are more united than ever. Your support gives us greater motivation to preserve independence, dignity, and national pride,” Maduro added.
