President Masoud Pezeshkian said that being satisfied with one's own rights and refraining from violating the rights of others based on fairness and justice is the secret to achieving happiness in the world.
During a meeting with Iranians residing in Armenia on Monday, President Pezeshkian emphasized that achieving happiness in the world hinges on being content with one’s rights while also respecting the rights of others, grounded in principles of fairness and justice.
The president stressed the necessity of strengthening friendly relations with neighboring countries and beyond, cautioning that isolation would only impede progress and development.
He noted that the world becomes more beautiful and joyful through interaction and communication, underscoring that Iranian officials actively engage with other nations to expand amicable relationships.
Citing historical examples, Pezeshkian remarked that civilizations that failed to engage with others inevitably fell behind.
He highlighted the importance of first cultivating relationships with neighboring countries and then extending these connections globally, aiming for genuine progress through the exchange of experiences, capabilities, and achievements.
Pezeshkian pointed out that today’s significant scientific advancements are a product of shared knowledge among diverse nations and civilizations.
He asserted that the flourishing of science and knowledge results not from the efforts of a single nation but from the collaboration of various peoples working together.
Reflecting on the deep-rooted connections between Iran and its neighbors, he called for the revitalization of these relationships to ensure mutual benefits and foster greater cooperation.
Additionally, President Pezeshkian condemned the use of power to oppress the innocent, specifically referencing the suffering in Gaza and Palestine.
He described such atrocities committed by the Israeli regime as a disgrace and called for collective action to prevent ongoing injustices, emphasizing the need for a united front in addressing such crimes.
