Zionist Regime Faces Severe Consequences, Warns Ghalibaf

According to SAEDNEWS, During a meeting with Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous, who was in Tehran for the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Ghalibaf highlighted the martyrdom of Chief of the Political Bureau of Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, stating, “Although more than 300 days have passed since the Zionist regime’s attacks in Gaza, the regime has not been able to achieve any success in northern front of the occupied territories, so that the Zionist regime has become desperate and resorts to the state terrorism.”

Expressing condolences over Ismail Haniyeh's martyrdom, Ghalibaf emphasized that Haniyeh was a significant figure in the Resistance Front, as he represented the martyrs of al-Quds and played an irreplaceable role in their movement.

In addition, the speaker of the parliament mentioned that Iran and Syria possess substantial capabilities and potential for enhancing their relationships across various political, economic, social, and cultural areas.

For his part, Syrian Prime Minister Arnous acknowledged the strong ties between Tehran and Damascus, asserting that his country values its relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Arnous also addressed the atrocities perpetrated by the Zionist regime against Palestinians in Gaza, noting that the brutal actions taken by the Zionists reflect their intention to heighten tensions in the region as a means to compensate for their failures.

In response to the assassination of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh early on Wednesday morning, the Syrian prime minister condemned the act vigorously, stating, “We believe that the Axis of Resistance, ranging from Iran, to Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, will always continue its path with utmost might.”
