SAEDNEWS: Yemen's Foreign Minister says Yemen's position in supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation will not change.
According to SAEDNEWS, Yemen's Foreign Minister Jamal Ahmed Ali Amer has reaffirmed that Yemen's commitment to supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation will not change.
In a recent phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister Amer congratulated him on his new role as Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During their conversation, the Yemeni Foreign Minister addressed the rising conflicts in the region and the military actions of the United States and the UK against Yemen. He stated firmly, "Yemen's position in supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation will not change."
Minister Amer also highlighted the significance of the agreements between Iran and Yemen, expressing hope for enhanced cooperation in economic and development areas.
In response, Araghchi emphasized the importance of the relationship between Iran and Yemen, stating that ongoing discussions are crucial for regional security. He praised Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian people, saying, "At a time when many countries are only satisfied with announcing their positions against the Zionist regime, the government and people of Yemen have been defending the oppression of the Palestinian people."
Araghchi extended an invitation to Minister Amer to visit Tehran, aiming to further the dialogue and exchange views on shared concerns for both countries and the region.
