SAEDNEWS: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will hold his first press conference on Monday in the presence of the domestic and foreign journalists and media activists.
According to SAEDNEWS, On September 6, 2024, it was announced that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will hold his first press conference on September 16. The event will welcome both domestic and foreign journalists and media activists.
President Pezeshkian previously addressed the nation in a live speech on August 31, where he expressed his commitment to this upcoming press conference. During his address, he urged various political groups in Iran to set aside their differences and work together for the benefit of the people.
"So far, we have made our utmost efforts to form a national unity government," he stated. He also mentioned that his cabinet consists of members from the former government of Martyr Ebrahim Raeisi, as well as individuals from the administration of his predecessor, Hassan Rouhani, and the Reformists.
According to the interior ministry, Pezeshkian was appointed as the 9th president of the Islamic Republic of Iran after receiving a majority of votes.
