SAEDNEWS: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian sent his warm congratulations to Kyrgyzstan on its Independence Day, reaching out to President Sadyr Japarov.
According to SAEDNEWS, In his message, Pezeshkian emphasized, "I believe that the relations between Iran and Kyrgyzstan based on mutual respect will be strengthened and developed for the benefit of the people of both countries. Developing cooperation with neighboring countries and the region is the priority of foreign policy of the new government of Iran."
Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day is an important national holiday celebrated annually on August 31. This date marks the anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's declaration of independence in 1991, when the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR adopted the Declaration of State Independence.
This year, the celebration is particularly special as it is the first time the event is held in Kyrgyzstan's southern capital, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of Nasirdin Isanov, the nation's first Prime Minister, who hailed from the Osh region.
