According to SAEDNEWS, In a recent meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan's President, Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, stated that Russia is "militarily invincible." This comment came during discussions with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz about the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

Tokayev expressed concern that any further escalation of the conflict could lead to severe consequences for everyone involved. He emphasized the importance of finding a peaceful resolution to the war, noting that a good opportunity for a truce was missed when the Istanbul Agreement was not signed. However, he believes that the chance for peace still exists and urges nations to carefully consider all peace proposals from various countries.

Among the peace plans mentioned, Tokayev highlighted the proposals from China and Brazil, stating they are worthy of support.

The president also reminded everyone that Kazakhstan shares the longest defined land border with Russia, stressing the significance of cooperation between the two nations. He expressed Kazakhstan's sympathy for the Ukrainian people and their culture, stating that there have always been good relations between Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan's embassy in Kyiv remains active, showing a commitment to maintaining diplomatic ties.
