SAEDNEWS: Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi visits Tehran on Sunday.
According to SAEDNEWS, During his visit to Tehran, Safadi is scheduled to meet and discuss matters with Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani. They will focus on recent developments in the region as well as bilateral relations between their countries.
This trip occurs following two telephone conversations that took place between diplomats within the past 48 hours.
In a post on his X account, Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani shared that in response to a phone call from the foreign ministers of Jordan and Egypt, the three diplomats engaged in their second discussion within the last two days. They exchanged perspectives on ongoing developments in the region and collectively underscored the importance of continued consultations among the regional countries.
Bagheri noted that the situation in the West Asian region is extremely sensitive, particularly due to the ongoing actions and dangerous undertakings of the governing body in Tel Aviv.
He further stated, "It is imperative that the Muslim countries in the region take a united and decisive stance along with coordinated actions to halt the genocide occurring in Gaza and to curb the expansion of aggression by the Zionist regime in the region. Iran remains steadfast in its commitment to hold the regime accountable."
