SAEDNEWS: Iran welcomes the all-out expansion of ties with Kuwait, the top Iranian diplomat says.
According to SAEDNEWS, Iran has expressed its strong desire for the comprehensive expansion of relations with Kuwait, according to statements made by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
In a recent phone conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Araghchi welcomed ongoing dialogue and cooperation between the two nations. During the call, Al-Yahya congratulated Araghchi on his appointment as Iran's foreign minister and expressed hopes for his success in this role.
Al-Yahya emphasized Kuwait's commitment to fostering the development and expansion of bilateral relations, underscoring the importance of sustained political dialogue between the two countries.
In response, Araghchi conveyed Tehran's openness to enhancing ties with Kuwait City. He highlighted the need for continued political consultations, particularly given the complexities and evolving nature of developments in the West Asian region. This commitment signifies Iran's intent to strengthen its diplomatic and cooperative efforts with Kuwait moving forward.
