According to SAEDNEWS, Cinnamon Roll Bread is one of the most delicious pastries. This tasty bread is very nutritious and makes a great snack for children. Try to use cinnamon in your dishes or desserts as it has many health benefits, including improving heart health, enhancing circulation, and providing relief from muscle pain. To make this bread, you will need yeast. Be sure to store the yeast in the refrigerator and buy it in small amounts to keep it fresh. One of the main reasons for a failed pastry or bread is the yeast not activating, which can be caused by factors such as water or milk being too hot or too cold. So, make sure the yeast is fresh and working properly.
Warm milk: 2 cups
Instant yeast: 2 ½ teaspoons
Sugar: ⅓ cup
Vegetable oil: ⅓ cup
Flour: 5 cups
Salt: ½ teaspoon
Brown sugar: 2 tablespoons
White sugar: 2 tablespoons
Cinnamon: 3 teaspoons
Butter: 100 grams
Egg (for brushing): 1
Milk (for brushing): 2 tablespoons
To make the delicious and fancy cinnamon rolls, start by taking a suitable bowl. Add the sugar and yeast to it. Then, add the warm milk and vegetable oil, and mix everything together. Cover the bowl with a lid.
Let it rest for about 10 to 15 minutes so that the yeast activates. In another bowl, mix the salt and flour together, then sift them. Gradually add the flour mixture to the yeast and milk mixture.
Stir continuously until you form a dough that doesn't stick to your hands. Be careful not to add too much flour, as it will make the dough dense and stiff. Add flour gradually. Knead the dough for about 15 minutes until it becomes smooth and soft.
Grease the bottom of a bowl with oil. Place the dough in the bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it rest in a warm place for about 2 hours, or until the dough doubles in size.
In a separate bowl, place the butter at room temperature to soften. Add the cinnamon, white sugar, and brown sugar, and mix until smooth. After the dough has rested for 2 hours, gently deflate it with your hands.
Sprinkle flour on your work surface. Divide the dough into two parts and roll out one part with a rolling pin. Spread the cinnamon mixture on the rolled-out dough. Then, carefully roll the dough into a log.
Then, using dental floss or a serrated knife, cut the rolls into 2 cm thick slices and set them aside. Roll out the second portion of dough and cover it with cinnamon, butter, and sugar. Then, roll it up and cut it into slices as well.
At this point, you can shape the rolls into a braid, depending on your preference. Take a baking dish and line the bottom with parchment paper, greasing it lightly. Arrange the rolls in the dish.
Cover the baking dish and let it rest for about 30 minutes. In a small bowl, combine the egg and milk, and whisk it with a fork until smooth. Use a brush to apply this mixture onto the rolls.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) for 10-15 minutes. Once the oven is heated, place the baking dish inside and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (350°F) until fully cooked.
For a convection oven, set the temperature to 180°C (350°F). Once the oven is heated, place the dish inside and bake for 20 minutes at 165°C (330°F) with the convection setting.
If the top does not turn golden, you can use the grill function for 3 minutes. Once fully baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool. Once it has cooled down, take the rolls out of the dish and serve them on a suitable platter.
