Ingredients

  • Flour: 2.5 cups

  • Sugar: 1 cup

  • Milk: 1/2 cup

  • Baking powder: 2 teaspoons

  • Vanilla: 1 pinch

  • Powdered sugar: 4 tablespoons

  • Butter: 75 grams

  • Eggs: 3

  • Vegetable oil: 50 grams

  • Apples: 2

  • Cinnamon: 1 tablespoon

How to Make Apple Pie:

Step 1:

To begin, take the butter, eggs, and milk out of the fridge to bring them to room temperature. Once the butter softens, place it in a suitable bowl along with the sugar, and mix well until the mixture becomes creamy.

Step 2:

Once the sugar and butter mixture is creamy, add the vanilla. It's important to add just a small amount of vanilla, as using too much can make the pie taste bitter.

Step 3:

After adding the vanilla, mix the ingredients a little, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well with the sugar and butter until smooth. Finally, sift the flour and baking powder together twice to ensure the mixture is smooth.

Step 4:

Next, add the milk along with half of the sifted flour to the butter, sugar, and egg mixture, and mix well until smooth. Gradually add the remaining flour until the dough is fully combined and smooth.

Step 5:

Peel the apples and slice them thinly, then set them aside. Next, prepare the pie molds by either greasing them or lining them with parchment paper.

Step 6:

Fill one-fifth of each pie mold with the dough. Then, mix the powdered sugar and cinnamon together. Coat the apple slices in this cinnamon-sugar mixture and place them into the pie molds.

Step 7:

Alternatively, you can place the apple slices directly into the molds and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Then, fill the molds with the dough, ensuring you leave about half of the mold empty to allow space for the dough to rise.

Step 8:

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) for 15 minutes. Once heated, place the pie molds on a baking tray and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until they are fully cooked and puffed up.

Step 9:

Allow the pies to cool slightly before transferring them to a serving dish. For decoration, you can use powdered sugar, crushed pistachios, melted chocolate, or any other topping of your choice.
