Saed News: The young girl said, "It was during my street wandering that I got acquainted with alcohol and cigarettes, and in order to appear like a cool girl, I would show up with strange and bizarre outfits and looks."
According to Saad News, quoting Etemad Online, a 20-year-old Afghan girl, who was supposed to return to her family after legal actions and specialized counseling, shared her bitter and unfortunate story: "I am the youngest child of a 10-member family who came to Iran with my family years ago. My father worked in a production workshop, and we saw him at home only once a week, but I constantly had conflicts with my family members over various issues. They considered my behavior childish and always belittled me, so I was always fighting and quarrelling with my brothers. They beat me several times, but my parents didn’t say anything. It seemed that they were also content with my brothers' terrible behavior.
To sum up, four years ago, when I was only 16, I met one of my fellow countrymen online. Isaac was 30 years old and presented himself as a committed and kind person. He tricked me into going to another city, where he locked me in a room for four days, and his friends came over with the intention to assault me. At an opportune moment, while they were busy with drugs, I quietly grabbed my handbag and escaped. When I reached the street, I threw myself in front of a passing car and asked the driver for help. He took me to the police station, and that’s how Isaac and his friends were arrested. On the other hand, I was handed over to social services by the court order, but about a month later, my family found me and brought me back home. But again, my brothers severely beat me because of this mistake and my acquaintance with Isaac, and they imprisoned me at home.
When the family of one of Isaac’s friends who had been arrested found out where we lived, my family decided to send me to Karaj to live with my sister for a while to escape this situation. However, things got worse there because I decided to take revenge on my family. As a result, while my sister and her husband were at work, I wandered aimlessly around the streets and hung out with my friends. But I always went home before them and cooked so they wouldn’t find out about my street wandering!
It was during these days that I got acquainted with cigarettes and alcohol. In an attempt to appear cool, I even self-harmed with a knife and adopted strange outfits and looks! In Karaj, I made a few friends but didn't continue the relationship and returned to Mashhad. Again, I met another young man online, and we arranged to meet. But he came to the meeting place with two of his friends, and while we were hanging out, suddenly the police, following a complaint from my family, found me and took me to Golshahr police station. It turned out that these three young men also intended to assault me, but their malicious plan was thwarted by the police's presence. On the other hand, with the guidance of the police station's counselor, I realized that I had gone down the wrong path and shouldn’t have engaged in conflicts with my family over these empty thoughts. I wish...
Following a special order from Ebrahim Arabkhani (the head of Golshahr Police Station in Mashhad), after receiving specialized counseling and legal actions, this young girl was handed back to her family."
