SAEDNEWS: Yoon Eun Hye finally addresses long-standing rumors of being bullied in Baby V.O.X, explaining that her distance was about self-growth and focus on acting, not conflict with fellow members.
Ahead of Baby V.O.X’s concerts on September 26–27, 2025 (KST), the reunited members gathered on the YouTube channel Jipdaeseong on September 19. Fans had long speculated about tension between Yoon Eun Hye and her fellow members, especially when she was absent from certain group promotions.
Addressing these rumors directly, Yoon Eun Hye shared that her distance was not a matter of avoiding older members. “While I was focusing on acting, I really tried to erase the singer image,” she explained. “I was ashamed of my clumsy, unprepared self back then. As I’ve grown older, I’ve learned to love that version of me, and fans cherish those memories too.”
Rumors were fueled when Yoon Eun Hye missed full-group TV appearances on SBS Dolsing Fourmen and Channel S Noldeon Unnie 2 last year. Fans assumed discord, but members clarified that conflicting agency schedules meant only available members could attend.
Kan Mi Yeon emphasized the group’s protective attitude toward one another, particularly during periods of intense anti-fan activity. Yoon Eun Hye later joined a year-end stage with all five members, effectively putting longstanding rumors to rest.
Kim E Z echoed her perspective, noting that many idols who shifted to acting during that era faced similar challenges. Shim Eun Jin reflected humorously on the group’s early reception, remembering how “Get lost!” chants often drowned out their performances during music shows.
This context highlights the pressures K-pop idols faced, and how much of Yoon Eun Hye’s perceived aloofness was self-protection rather than interpersonal conflict.
