The Most Traditional and Delicious Method for Making Tabriz-Style Halva / Tabriz Kafgiri Halva

According to the Cooking Service of Saed News, Tabriz Kafgiri Halva is one of the most delicious types of halva in the cities of Azerbaijan.

Ingredients for Tabriz Kofgiri Halva:

  • White pastry flour (not whole wheat flour) – 2 cups

  • Powdered sugar (Nesar) – 1 cup

  • Solid oil – 2 tbsp

  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp

  • Animal butter – 50g

  • Strongly brewed saffron – 50g

  • Rosewater – 5 tbsp

  • Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp
