According to the History Service of Saed News, a rhyton, also known as a tekouk, is a cartilage-shaped vessel that was used in ancient times for drinking or pouring beverages during ceremonies. A rare example from the Parthian period has been discovered, decorated with images of a caracal (a cat-like animal) and a rooster on its body. This unique artifact was shared by a user on social media and it was revealed that it is currently housed in the Miho Museum in Japan. Rhytons typically combined Iranian art with Hellenistic influences and were used to express the splendor and social status of individuals in official ceremonies.
