SAEDNEWS: Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett warns that Israel has lost bipartisan support in the United States, blaming Netanyahu’s government for diplomatic failures, rising antisemitism, and a deteriorating global image. He also accuses some of the Prime Minister’s staff of corrupt ties to pro-Qatar lobbying.

According to Saed News, citing the Times of Israel, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett wrote in a lengthy series of tweets following his trip to the United States that Israel has completely lost the support of the Democrats, and "the Republican Party, which once could be counted on to support Israel, is also slipping away."

Bennett wrote:
"Although some members of the Trump administration still sympathize with Israel — primarily thanks to President Trump himself — many on the American right, including the MAGA movement (Trump supporters), are distancing themselves from Israel. Even Israel’s friends are now struggling to defend it."

He continued:
"The ‘starvation campaign’ in Gaza has gained massive dimensions and, in fact, has become almost a reality for most Americans and various influential individuals. Israel is increasingly seen as a liability and a burden on the United States and the American people."

Bennett further stated that support for Israel among the younger generation in the U.S. has dramatically declined over the past two years.
He added that the rise in antisemitism has led many on both the radical left and right to blame Jews for America’s problems. In response, the Israeli government is causing "horrific damage" and "still does not grasp the magnitude of the disaster."

Bennett blamed the Prime Minister’s Office for failing in public diplomacy, noting that those responsible for such efforts "received salaries from Qatar."

Two of Netanyahu’s aides are suspected of multiple offenses related to their alleged work for a pro-Qatar lobbying firm, including contact with a foreign agent and a series of corrupt actions involving lobbyists and businessmen.

Bennett added that government ministers like Amichai Eliyahu, Amichai Chikli, and Bezalel Smotrich "make incoherent statements and, through destructive quotes that will haunt our soldiers at passport checkpoints across the world, are causing us unimaginable harm."

He concluded by asking:
"Do you really think that what you say in your interviews inside Israel isn’t heard abroad?! Don’t you care that it could lead to the prosecution of our soldiers? If Netanyahu’s PR team worked against Israel’s external enemies with even a tenth of the talent, speed, and dedication they use to run their propaganda machine against domestic political opponents, our situation would be unbelievable."
