Saed News: The spokesperson for the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, referring to the explosion incident at Shahid Rajaee Port in Hormozgan Province, announced that the commission has begun investigating today’s midday incident.
According to the political service of Saeed News, quoting Khabar Online, Ebrahim Rezaei commented on the incident at Shahid Rajaee Port, saying: "Based on the latest reports, the situation at the explosion site is under the control of rescue and security forces, and currently our most important duty is to take care of the injured and victims of this explosion."
The spokesperson for the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, noting that some media outlets are drawing parallels between this explosion and the Beirut port blast and raising the hypothesis of a terrorist attack, said: "All of these are media speculations, and so far, evaluation teams and safety and security experts have not yet provided any preliminary report indicating whether the explosion was caused by chemical materials, a terrorist operation, or another factor."
The representative of Dashtestan further stated: "At the moment, the country needs calm and must avoid causing any public anxiety. The Parliament's National Security Commission will hold a special session regarding today’s incident, and if necessary, a delegation from Parliament will be dispatched to Shahid Rajaee Port."
