SAEDNEWS: Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi emphasized Iran’s determination to promote cooperation with North Korea, calling for the full use of available capacities to strengthen relations in the areas of mutual interest.
Araqchi made the remarks during a meeting with Iran’s newly appointed ambassador to North Korea, Abbas Talebifar, held in Tehran on Saturday before the envoy’s departure to assume his post in Pyongyang.
During the meeting, Talebifar presented his proposed program for carrying out his duties in the new position.
The foreign minister wished him success in his mission and emphasized the importance of further developing bilateral relations between Tehran and Pyongyang across various fields.
