Washington's Written Proposal to Tehran: A New Chapter in Nuclear Diplomacy?

According to Saeed News, citing Nameh News, The New York Times has reported on a written proposal sent by Washington to Tehran, detailing the contents of this proposal.

The United States has requested a complete cessation of uranium enrichment in Iran, a red line that Tehran has repeatedly rejected.

Washington has also proposed the formation of a regional nuclear consortium, which would include Iran, Saudi Arabia, several Arab countries, and the United States, to jointly produce peaceful nuclear energy.

This plan, designed by U.S. Senior Negotiator Steve Witkoff, marks the first official U.S. proposal to be put on paper since the resumption of talks in April.
