Badamchi: Government Must Use Dialogue to Remove National Threats

According to SaedNews, quoting KhabarOnline, Mohammadreza Badamchi, in response to a question about the most important priority the fourteenth government should pursue at the present time, stated:

“Now, as we are in Government Week, the country is in a special situation. The trigger is right at our doorstep, our time is limited, and in a way, we are at war. We must strive to keep this trigger away from us. We must remove threats from the country through dialogue.

Although we were in talks with the United States when Israel attacked Iran, in my view, we should not close the path to negotiation. I believe that the government’s top priority now is to remove threats from the country through diplomacy and dialogue.

The government should also leverage the capacity of the nation’s elites to solve the country’s problems. The priority must be negotiating for the country’s security and eliminating threats. If, God forbid, the country’s security is compromised, other priorities lose their meaning. By all means, we should utilize the capabilities of society’s elites to address threats through dialogue and diplomacy. From my perspective, this is the government’s priority at this stage.

Some people constantly criticize the government and the President. Fortunately, the support that the Supreme Leader has shown for the President is very valuable at this stage. Some individuals within the country obstruct the development process. We occasionally see the government and the President being attacked. Obstacles must be removed from the President’s path.

The President must stand firmly against some of these obstructions. He should not yield to such obstacles. If comprehensive support is provided to the President and the government, the President can simultaneously manage domestic and foreign issues. Priorities are clear. As the President emphasized, funds should not be allocated to organizations whose programs and outputs are unclear. The government must prevent these budget leaks and consolidate the budget to address existing shortcomings.”
