SAEDNEWS: The managing director of the Jomhouri Eslami newspaper said: With each passing day, suspicious individuals who have infiltrated the national media beat the drum of division more than before and with strange insistence try to destroy the solidarity and empathy that has been created.
According to the political service of SaedNews, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Massih Mohajeri, in a note titled ‘Purification of the National Media is More Necessary than Ever’, wrote:
The general expectation was that after the very prominent emergence of national solidarity among Iranians in the face of the aggression of the Zionist regime in the 12-day imposed war, the national media would become the axis of unity and empathy.
Not only was this expectation not fulfilled, but with each passing day, suspicious individuals who have infiltrated the national media beat the drum of division more than before and with strange insistence try to destroy the solidarity and empathy that has been created.
The national media is not the place for attacking this and that, making accusations, and attributing false charges to individuals. This media is obligated to fight division and block the path of those who sow discord. Imam Khomeini likened the national media to a university, and with this description made the managers of it understand that this media must embody ethics, strengthen human dignity, and be the axis of national unity and solidarity so that the level of thought, national growth, and comprehensive progress of the country may rise. The path that the national media has taken is exactly the opposite of this route, and with its programs, statements, and accusations against individuals and even the incumbent government, whether intentionally or unintentionally, it seeks to dismantle the social foundations.
This performance shows that the national media now needs purification more than ever. The wise of the nation, if they believe in the survival of national solidarity, should know that this purification must be carried out as soon as possible. Tomorrow will be too late for this work.
