SAEDNEWS: Ali Larijani, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary, affirmed Iran’s unwavering support for Lebanon, emphasizing historical, cultural, and emotional bonds between the two nations.
According to saed news, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stated during his visit to Beirut: “The suffering of the Lebanese people is our suffering. We will stand by the people of Lebanon in all circumstances.”
He added: “I would like to thank my dear friend Nabih Berri for facilitating the arrangements for this visit.”
Larijani emphasized the historical and cultural depth of relations between the two countries, saying: “Iran and Lebanon both have a rich civilization, and throughout the centuries, close relations have always existed between our nations.”
He noted that the cultural cohesion between Iran and Lebanon strengthens emotional ties among the people of both countries, so that if the Lebanese nation suffers, the Iranian people also feel that pain.
The official further stressed: “The Islamic Republic of Iran will always stand by the dear people of Lebanon. I also thank my esteemed friend, Professor Al-Aziz, for making the arrangements for this visit possible.”
Larijani concluded by mentioning his planned meetings: “Today, I will also meet with the President, the Speaker of Parliament, the Prime Minister, as well as a number of Lebanese intellectuals and politicians.”
