Nīrah or Wājebī — which is also known by other names such as Wājebīn, hair removal powder, cleaning medicine, bath medicine," cleansing powder, or similar terms — is a white powder that has been used since ancient times to remove and eliminate unwanted body hair.
Noureh or Vājebi, also known by other names like Wājebīn, hair removal powder, cleaning powder, bath medicine, or similar terms, is a white powder that has been traditionally used since ancient times for removing unwanted body hair. One of its primary ingredients is lime. Noureh is considered an old form of hair removal powder and is believed to have immense benefits. According to a narration, using Noureh is similar to undergoing chemotherapy.
Most hair removal products are available on the market in cream and tube forms. Recently, gel and spray types — which are easier to use — have also been introduced.
Depi Hair Removal Powder is available in three fragrances:

Pine (brown).

Contains the effective, non-toxic compound calcium thioglycolate.
Reduces hair growth by denaturing amino acids in the hair cortex.
Does not cause skin issues or side effects.
Suitable for sensitive skin.
Softens and disinfects skin after epilation.
Suitable for different areas of the body such as face, legs, arms, and bikini line.
Hair removal powder, including Noureh and Vājebi, has cleansing and disinfecting properties, helping remove hair from the entire body. Its benefits come mainly from arsenic, which unfortunately is now removed during industrial production and exported. Ironically, it is chemically used abroad for producing arsenic trioxide, an anti-cancer drug, and is then re-imported at high costs.
Other benefits:
Eliminates unwanted body hair.
Reduces hair growth over time.
Acts as a peeling agent and skin whitener.
Many women (and perhaps their husbands) prefer lighter skin in the underarm and genital areas. Using razors or shaving often leads to darkened skin. The best method to prevent and reduce darkening in these areas is by using Noureh to remove the hair, rather than shaving.
Vaginal fungal infections are common and can be problematic, especially during pregnancy. Noureh is a natural antifungal agent that helps cleanse the genital area and prevent such infections.
Genital itching, often due to fungal infections, is another common problem. Noureh helps clean the area and eliminate fungi, playing a significant role in itch relief.
The best method for facial hair removal is threading. Waxing may stretch the skin and cause premature sagging. Creams and powders contain arsenic sulfide and other harmful chemicals, which are damaging to the delicate skin of the face.
To prevent pimples after hair removal, exfoliating the skin the day before or after using the product can help eliminate dead skin cells, reducing the chance of breakouts.
Unpleasant genital odor can affect not only the woman but her partner as well, potentially leading to strained sexual relationships. One major cause of this odor is infection. Using Noureh in the genital area helps cleanse it and eliminate the odor. If odor persists even after using natural Noureh, other causes should be considered.
Imam Ali (AS): “Using hair removal powder relieves anxiety and distress, and purifies the body.”
Imam Musa Kazim (AS): “Excessive hair weakens the body and decreases sexual vitality. Removing it increases strength and vitality.”
Imam Reza (AS): “Four traits are from the manners of the Prophets: applying fragrance, shaving the head, using Noureh, and frequent intimacy.”
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): “Do not let the moustache, pubic, or underarm hair grow long, for the devil hides in such places.”
Time Intervals for Using Noureh:
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): “A believer in God and the Day of Judgment should not let more than 40 days pass without removing pubic hair. A woman should not go more than 20 days without doing so.”
Imam Sadiq (AS): “It is Sunnah to use Noureh every 15 days. If someone delays it for 21 days, they should borrow money to get it done. One who delays it for 40 days is not considered a true believer.”
“For believers, using Noureh every 15 days is recommended.”
“If someone waits more than a week, their prayer is not accepted.”
Reciting the phrase before applying: ‘Peace be upon Solomon, son of David, as he ordered the use of Noureh’ can help prevent skin burns.
Imam Sadiq (AS): “Applying henna after using Noureh protects against leprosy and vitiligo.”
Henna after Noureh also protects from poverty.
From the Golden Treatise: To prevent boils, wounds, or dark spots after Noureh:
Wash with cold water before application.
Avoid sexual activity 12 hours before using it.
Mix acacia, myrobalan, or similar herbs in the powder.
Boil marjoram, violet, or chamomile in water and dissolve the powder in it.
Add arsenic sulfide (Zarnikh) — about one-sixth of the powder mix.
After removing the powder, apply peach leaves, henna, or rose oil to remove the smell.
To avoid burning: do not overmix the powder, wash it off quickly, and apply rose oil.
If burning occurs: apply a mixture of lentil flour, rosewater, and vinegar to the area.
If the powder does not work effectively, apply vinegar, wild onion, and rose oil to the area.
