SAEDNEWS: A fresh Israeli airstrike killed 14 Palestinians who were taking shelter under tents in the western Gaza Strip.
The Israeli regime’s warplanes bombarded Palestinian refugees at Al-Shati camp, resulting in 14 deaths and several injuries in western Gaza, according to Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen TV channel.
The Health Ministry in Gaza also reported that the Israeli regime has killed 100 Palestinians per day in direct attacks over the past three months, as reported by Qatar’s Al Jazeera TV network.
According to the ministry, the average death toll among children in Gaza has been 28, as the number of those affected by starvation continues to grow. Over the past 48 hours, 20 people lost their lives due to severe hunger. Dozens of children have been affected by Guillain-Barré syndrome, but there is no possibility of treating them.
The World Health Organization declared on Monday that the Israeli regime raided one of its buildings in Deir al-Balah City, located in the center of the Gaza Strip, which was the residence of its staff. The organization also stated that during this raid, its medical equipment warehouse was completely destroyed.
UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, Michael Fakhri, warned about the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. He described the situation as horrific, saying that such hunger is unprecedented in modern world history.
Secretary-General of the [Persian] Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Al Budaiwi, condemned the intensification of the blockade on the Gaza Strip by the Israeli regime. He held the regime directly responsible for the humanitarian disaster in the besieged region.
