SAEDNEWS: Pezeshkian praised ministry staff for their vital role during the war, saying their efforts helped maintain energy supplies and thwart enemy plans to disrupt the country.
According to Saednews, President Masoud Pezeshkian says Iran’s recent victory in the face of the Israeli regime’s war of aggression would not have been possible without both the military’s capabilities and the nation’s unity.
“If the people had not stood united and present alongside the Armed Forces and their missiles, which shattered the Israeli regime’s false prestige, victory would not have been possible,” he said during an unannounced visit to the Oil Ministry on Sunday.
Israel attacked Iran in an unprovoked act of aggression on June 13, assassinating military commanders and nuclear scientists in targeted strikes, and killing civilians in air raids on residential areas. The war was halted after the Tel Aviv regime requested a ceasefire following retaliatory missile strikes by Iran.
Pezeshkian also praised ministry staff for their vital role during the war, saying their efforts helped maintain energy supplies and thwart enemy plans to disrupt the country.
“It was you, along with other segments of the people, who understood the situation and wisely foiled the enemy’s plot to plunge the country into chaos,” he said.
Describing energy management as one of the country’s top priorities, the president emphasized the need for accurate, up-to-date data and stronger inter-agency coordination to optimize energy production and consumption.
Turning to foreign policy, Pezeshkian said the government was working to avoid future wars through diplomacy.
“War benefits no one and has no true victor,” he said. “Guided by our administration’s national unity platform, we seek to advance peace, stability, and calm through internal cohesion and friendly relations with neighbors and other nations.”
“We have never bullied anyone and never will, but we will never submit to bullying, either,” he added.
