According to Saednews, A powerful explosion in Syria’s central Hama province has killed at least seven people and injured several others, according to Syrian media.
The blast occurred in the countryside of Hama, located north of Damascus and southwest of Aleppo, after a fuel tanker caught fire, Syrian broadcaster Al-Ikhbariya reported, citing a source from the provincial police command.
Authorities said the casualty toll is preliminary and is expected to rise.
No immediate cause was given for the fire that triggered the explosion. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
