SAEDNEWS: Jalalzadeh said that Iranians showed to the enemies and the world that they never compromise when it comes to defending their homeland.
Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Vahid Jalalzadeh has hailed the Iranian nation for their collective efforts in defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of the recent U.S.-Israeli aggression.
According to Saednews, Jalalzadeh described the people as “antidote” to the Israeli-imposed 12-day war on Iran. “They defended the country’s sovereignty with all their heart and soul,” he said.
Underscoring the unparalleled role of the nation in different periods of history, the senior diplomat attributed the victory of the Islamic Revolution to the people, saying they always supported and guided the Islamic system with their strong presence over the past 46 years.
“The people are the manifestation of the authority of the Islamic Republic,” he quoted a statement from the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini and Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Jalalzadeh underlined that the Iranian nation, with their enthusiastic and widespread presence on the battlefield, under a single flag, showed to the enemy and the world that they never compromise when it comes to defending their homeland.
A massive funeral procession in Tehran for over 60 people who were killed in Israeli attacks
Referring to anti-Iran plots, the deputy foreign minister said the enemies were in an illusion that they would create internal chaos and inflict a serious blow on the Islamic Republic with their surprise attacks, but their plans were shattered by the Iranians at home and abroad.
Stressing the need for unity and cohesion, the diplomat called for efforts to reduce differences through internal consensus.
Israel launched an unprovoked war of aggression on June 13, assassinating Iran’s military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians in Tehran and other cities.
The Iranian Armed Forces responded by conducting 22 rounds of punitive strikes, using advanced missiles and drones that pierced through Israel’s multilayered air defense system to hit its strategic positions and forcing the regime to accept a U.S.-proposed ceasefire after 12 days of conflict.
