According to Saed News, citing Fars, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei delivered his third message following Israel’s recent assault, employing language that combined revolutionary fervour with diplomatic precision. “I congratulate the great Iranian nation,” he began, before asserting that “despite all their bravado, the Zionist regime has been brought to its knees—broken and crushed—under the blows of the Islamic Republic.”
Khamenei’s choice of verbs—“crushed” (له شد) and “brought to its knees” (از پا درآمد)—was far from rhetorical flourish. Rather, it was a deliberate signal to both domestic and international audiences that Iran interprets the ceasefire not as a compromise, but as a vindication of its deterrence doctrine.
